Frank McDermott is a New Jersey native and graduate of Rutgers University with a degree in landscape architecture. Years of working at his family’s restaurant at the Jersey Shore taught him the meaning of hard work and the rewards of great customer service. He moved to San Diego in 1994 to continue his education and fell in love with the Southern California lifestyle. A few years later he put down roots when he married his So Cal native wife Kimberly and purchased their first home in the Talmadge neighborhood of San Diego. They currently live near San Diego State University with their two crazy but lovable rescue dogs Maverick and Murphy.
His motivations for becoming a Realtor in 2003 were and
continue to be, to help others and give back to the community. Frank has
dedicated his time to doing just that ever since. To show his commitment to assisting
others, he donates 20% of his commission profits from each real estate transaction
to the local, national or international non-profit of his client’s choosing.
Frank prefers to keep his real estate business small and
focused on quality over quantity. Working with a limited number of clients at a
time allows him to focus on their unique requirements. This results in happy
clients that feel confident that they are receiving the utmost level of attention
and superior service. Whether it is assisting his clients in selling their
current property, finding their dream
home or an investment property to support them well into retirement, Frank is
100% customer centric, transparent and professional. His approach to any transaction
is this, “it’s about the people not the profits”.
